Eintracht Frankfurt Extends Mario Götze’s Contract Until 2028

🏆 Götze is one of Germany’s top stars over the past decade, famously scoring the decisive goal in the 2014 World Cup final against Argentina, helping Germany lift the trophy.
📝 The 33-year-old attacking midfielder signed a new two-year contract after his previous deal was set to expire at the end of the current season. Frankfurt currently sits seventh in the Bundesliga standings.
💬 Götze said: "Eintracht Frankfurt means a lot to me. I’ve been here for several years and my family and I feel very comfortable. At this stage of my career, I value every moment on the pitch, and this club and my passion for football are why I decided to stay."
📊 Since joining Frankfurt in summer 2022 from PSV Eindhoven, Götze has played 148 matches, scored 12 goals, and provided 18 assists, proving his influence in the squad known as “The Eagles.”
