Sa’i between Safa and Marwah is one of the most profound rituals of Umrah, carrying deep meanings of patience, faith, and reliance on Allah. It reflects the story of Hajar’s sincere effort in search of relief, becoming a timeless symbol of hope and trust in divine mercy, and a moment that fills the heart with tranquility during the sacred journey.

Religious authorities have clarified that there are no fixed supplications assigned to each round of Sa’i. Instead, pilgrims are encouraged to supplicate freely, remembering Allah, praising Him, and asking for goodness in both this life and the hereafter, while maintaining sincerity and humility throughout the ritual.

Among the recommended manners of performing Sa’i is starting from Safa facing the القبلة, raising the hands in supplication and remembrance, then proceeding toward Marwah while continuing to remember Allah, with men performing light jogging between the designated markers, and increasing dhikr and supplication along the way.

O Allah, accept my Sa’i, forgive my sins, and ease my affairs
My Lord, grant me acceptance and make this act sincerely for Your sake
O Allah, let this Sa’i be a witness for me, not against me
My Lord, accept from me, forgive me, have mercy on me, and guide me
O Allah, grant me a good ending and an easy reckoning

O Allah, as Hajar sought relief, do not deprive me of Your mercy
My Lord, make a way out for me from every hardship and relief from every distress
O Allah, fill my heart with certainty and trust in You
My Lord, purify my heart from sins and make my Sa’i a means of forgiveness
O Allah, make this sacred place a witness to my sincere supplication and acceptance

O Allah, as I strive, my heart hopes for Your mercy, so do not let me return disappointed
My Lord, make my steps in this Sa’i a light in my life and hereafter
O Allah, set right all my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for a moment
My Lord, make me among those whom You are pleased with
O Allah, conclude my life with goodness and accept my final deeds
