Muslims are encouraged to turn to the Prophetic supplication for fulfilling needs whenever life becomes difficult, seeking relief, comfort, and the fulfillment of wishes through sincere prayer and trust in Allah.

Islam teaches Salat Al-Hajah (Prayer of Need) for important matters. A believer performs ablution, prays two rak‘ahs, praises Allah, sends blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, then asks for what he needs with humility and certainty.

Among the powerful prophetic supplications for hardship and relief:

  • The Prophet ﷺ said during distress:
“There is no god but Allah, the Most Great, the Most Forbearing… Lord of the heavens, the earth, and the Noble Throne.”

  • For easing difficulty, he said:
“O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy.”

  • For the troubled:
“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye.”

  • One of the greatest prayers for fulfilling needs:
“There is no deity but You, glory be to You, indeed I was among the wrongdoers.”

Relief is also supported by spiritual actions such as:

  • Sending prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ.

  • Trusting Allah with effort.

  • Supplicating during the last third of the night.

  • Praying for others secretly.

  • Maintaining family ties.

  • Giving charity.

  • Constant seeking of forgiveness.

These deeds open doors of mercy and transform hardship into ease by Allah’s permission.
