Supplication is among the most powerful means a Muslim relies on to protect themselves and their family from all forms of harm, combining sincere reliance on God with adherence to prescribed means such as authentic adhkar and recitation of the Holy Quran. It serves as a shield against envy, the evil eye, magic, and both visible and hidden harm.

Religious authorities have clarified that envy and the evil eye are real, and protection from them lies in consistently observing daily remembrances, reciting the protective chapters of the Quran, and particularly Surah Al-Falaq, which includes seeking refuge from the envy of the envious. Regular recitation of the Quran at home and engaging in ruqyah also bring tranquility and repel harm by the will of God.

Among the supplications that can be recited for protection:
O God, protect me and my family from envy and harm, keep away from us every envious and malicious person, place us under Your protection and care, suffice us against those who intend evil for us, safeguard our homes from the evil eye, and grant us continuous protection from envy at all times, placing a barrier of mercy between us and those who harbor ill intentions.

It is also recommended to regularly recite supplications for personal protection such as:
O God, protect my soul from all harm, I entrust my soul to You, so guard it with Your watchful care that never sleeps, grant me safety in my faith and worldly affairs, keep me in Your constant protection, safeguard my heart from anxiety and fear, suffice me against all that troubles or harms me, and keep me under Your care at all times.

For general spiritual protection, maintaining remembrance of God and reciting the Quran—especially Surah Al-Baqarah—is highly encouraged, as it is known to drive away negative influences and bring blessings into the home, while placing full trust in God as the ultimate protector and source of peace and reassurance.
